Konsensus Now!
Privacy Policy
Effective: 2 October 2024
Konsensus LLC is a technology company.
The Konsensus Now! App allows you to propose and participate in surveys about the people, demographics, and communities where you live or belong at various scales, such as building, street, block, neighborhood, city, state, country, and even worldwide. We hope these surveys will help you and your communities to understand their priorities and how different subgroups think and feel about various topics, consequently leading to informed decisions that will improve the quality of living for such groups. When you use our App, you'll share some information with us. So, we want to be upfront about the information we collect, how we use it, and how it's shared.
Information We Collect
There are three basic categories of information we collect: Information you provide. Information we get when you use the Konsensus Now! App. Information we obtain from third parties.
Here's a little more detail on each of these categories.
Information You Provide
When you interact with our App, we collect the information you provide. For example, to find surveys in which you can participate, we'll need to collect a few essential details about you, such as date of birth, location where you live, and other demographic information. If you create a survey that is later approved, the survey may become public, but the author's identity will remain private. The Konsensus Now! App won't reveal which survey and survey participations were submitted by which user. The same common sense that applies to the internet at large applies to our App: don't create surveys, submit survey participations, or share content that you wouldn't want someone to save or share.

Device Information. We collect information from and about the device you use. For example, we may collect:

We may need to suspend those deletion practices if we receive a valid legal process asking us to preserve content, if we receive reports of abuse or other Terms of Use violations, or if your account, content created by you, or content created with other users is flagged by others or our systems for abuse or other Terms of Use violations. Finally, we may also retain certain information in backup for a limited time or as required by law.

You can access and edit most of your basic account information in the App. Because your privacy is important to us, we may ask you to verify your identity or provide additional information before we let you access or update your personal information.
